Cookies and local storage

The site uses the mp-analytics-consent localStorage key to remember your analytics and advertising choices. It is not a cookie. The choice expires after 6 months, when the site asks you again.

Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel load only after consent for the relevant category. The Google Ads tag loads only when configured in the site release and when advertising consent is given.

Your choice and how to change it

You can accept or decline optional cookies or select categories individually. Use Cookie settings at the bottom of the page to change your choice. The choice is remembered for 6 months.

Declining optional cookies does not affect access to the website content. YouTube videos use youtube-nocookie.com embeds. Instagram connects only after you choose to play a video.

Cookies and retention periods

Google Analytics 4: _ga and _ga_<ID> distinguish visits for analytics, only after consent. The site configures these cookies to last up to 14 months; a browser or Google setting may shorten that period. GA4 event and user data retention is controlled separately in the Google Analytics account and should be set to 14 months.

Meta Pixel: _fbp supports measurement and advertising after consent and lasts up to 90 days. _fbc may be set when a visitor arrives from a Meta ad and also lasts up to 90 days.

Google Ads cookies may be set only when the Ads tag is enabled and the visitor has accepted advertising. Their names and duration depend on the account configuration. This site release does not load a Google Ads tag unless an ID is configured.

The production cookie inventory should be checked again after production accounts are connected because providers and browsers can change cookie names and lifetimes.
